Capturing CO2 through bio-mimicry highlighted in New York Times
EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Oct. 26, 2009 – A proposal to synthetically replicate how enzymes within the body capture and remove carbon dioxide from the bloodstream is among 37 project grants announced by Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), a new effort within the U.S. Department of Energy.
The proposal has been developed by UTRC scientist Dr. Harry Cordatos, and is among three projects highlighted in the Oct. 26 edition of the New York Times.
