Our Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) organization provides the technical expertise to create and sustain a workplace that is free from hazards, supports safe operations and is unmatched in our shared responsibility to protect our natural environment.

UTRC's environmental goals through 2010 are aggressive and for the first time include a greenhouse gas metric. Our goal is 3 percent annual reductions in carbon dioxide equivalents independent of organic growth, which compares favorably to our already significant reductions in energy use averaging 2 percent annually over the last decade.
