UTC EMPLOYEE SCHOLAR PROGRAM :

The UTC Employee Scholar Program makes it easy, convenient and rewarding for employees to obtain their college degree, whether at an associates, bachelors, or advanced level. Some details about our program:

• 100% of all tuition costs paid directly to the school.
• 100% of all course-required books, registration and academic fees are covered.
• 50% of classroom hours granted as paid time off (up to 3 hours per week), for employee study.
• No limit to the number of courses you can take.
• The degree program or courses taken do not have to be job-related.

The only requirements are that the employee takes courses leading to a degree from an educational institution that is nationally accredited or recognized, and the employee obtains a satisfactory grade (C or better). Upon graduation, Employee Scholars receive shares of UTC common stock as a graduation gift from the Company in recognition of their accomplishment. The stock aware amount reflects the degree achieved.
